Brooklyn's in Robinsons Place Manila
This branch here in Robinsons is just a humble "stall-like" restaurant sitting upon a literal corner. It has only about 7 tables that can accommodate maximum of 14 people at a time.
At first, I witnessed how people would just ignore the restaurant -- it felt like they were not considering it in the first place. However, since I've known Brooklyn's for a while, my family would often dine here. Slowly, over the months of operations, we would end up queuing to be seated, and that made my heart leap. It feels good when great food places get recognized.
Okay, so what makes Brooklyn's special?
The restaurant is pretty much known for pizza, so you should definitely try it here.
I personally recommend White Pesto Pizza because it was the first one I tried here in Brooklyn's. It has this creamy pesto sauce smothered on the pizza then topped with cheese. Each bite will cause the rich cream-cheesy goodness to explode.
Top your White Pesto Pizza with the special Labuyo Cervesa Hot Sauce of Brookyln's and your buds will go into an overdrive! I couldn't stop myself despite the sting on my lips. It was just that excellent!
For the pasta dishes, I recommend the tomato-based one (e.g. Bolognese). They are able to get the right blend of authentic sourness from the tomato, and with the friendly price point, you'll definitely love this dish. Also, you can request extra Parmesan cheese to further bring out the goodness of this amazing this.

Brooklyn's may not be the best pizza and pasta place in town, but it won my heart with the genuine and straightforward tastiness of the dishes. Honesty compels me to admit that not all food here are noteworthy. You need to handpick from the menu. As a general rule, the pizzas are okay, and for the pasta, go for the red ones. Oh, and the buffalo wings are spicy yet bursting with bellpeppery flavor! Servers here are very accommodating, so don't hold back in requesting for extra cheese.
