Top 8 Restaurants to Try in Robinsons Ermita, Manila

Recommended Restaurants in Robinsons Ermita Manila

Top 8 Blogger's Recommended Restaurants
Are you currently in trouble looking for a nice place to eat in Robinsons Ermita? If yes, then you stumbled upon the right blog post!

I'll make it quick and useful for you, so let's begin. Some of the restaurants recommended here have separate blogs posts containing more details, you may check them out by clicking on the name of the restaurant.

Important Note: I omitted prices of  dishes mentioned in the recommendations, since they may have been outdated already. However, I tried re-estimating the budget needed to dine in these restaurants, so hopefully that still helps.

By the way, this list is not intentionally in particular order, but I arranged them on the likelihood of me picking that restaurant.

Last Update Date: January 2026

1. Honolulu HK Cafe

Deep Fried Chicken Curry Rice of Honolulu HK Cafe

Honolulu HK Cafe, just like CoCo Ichibanya (also part of this list), is home of tasty curry dishes (but different from Japanese-style curry). It's also famous for its pastries and tarts, which makes Honolulu different and unique. The reason why I like it here is because the prices are relatively affordable, and they have bigger serving than contemporaries. I always go for either the Baked Chicken in Portuguese Style or the Chicken Curry Rice, both of which features the same SG/HK-style of curry.

Funnily, there is a Honolulu Cafe in Taiwan, but for some reason, I enjoyed the branch here in Robinsons Manila more, by a mile.

Location: Ground Floor of Robinsons Pedro Gil Wing
What to order: Baked Chicken in Portuguese Style, Deep Fried Chicken Curry Rice, Egg Tart
Budget: P250 and up for a personal dish

2. Tim Ho Wan

Tim Ho Wan is home of affordable yet delicious Hong Kong comfort cuisine. Its original store in HK garnered 1-Star Michelin star which was the reason for its fame. Just last 2025, they renovated the space, and it now has a more homey comfortable feel to it, making it a personal go-to restaurant for a quick comfort chow. Whenever I dine here, I normally go for either the 'Chicken, Chinese Sausage and Mushroom Rice' or the 'Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf'. Both give me that authentic Chinese taste that gives me comfort.

Location: Ground Floor, Midtown Wing
What to order: Baked Buns with Pork BBQ, Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf, Chicken, Chinese Sausage, and Mushroom Rice and other Chinese dimsum
Budget: P250 and up each for a group of at least 4

3. Ippudo

Ippudo in Robinsons Place Manila

Although there are already quite a number of Ipuddo branches elsewhere, it still remains to be one of the must-try ramen in town. While there may be nothing special about this particular branch in Robinsons Manila, they still deliver this consistent ramen goodness. The balanced broth is perfect to quench my ramen cravings without the ick or umay factor. Also, does it count that my mom loves it here, and whenever I ask her where to eat in the mall, there is a high chance, we'll end up here.

Location: Ground Floor, Midtown Wing
What to order: Shiromaru Motoaji and Akamaru Shinaji
Budget: P500 and up for a personal bowl of ramen

Mai Wei Fang is a very underrated restaurant in Robinsons, and it's not easy to spot this place because it's just a tiny sliver of space slotted near the Robinsons Supermarket. However, do not be deceived by the size of the store. The dishes here are heavily packed! The Sheng Jian Bao is a must-try! It's a pan-fried version of a Xiao Long Bao, so you are definitely in for a sumptuous experience. You eat it similar to the XLB wherein you poke a tiny hole, slurp the soup inside and then eat it whole.

Location: Ground Floor, near Robinsons Supermarket
What to order: Sheng Jian Bao, Shrimp Sheng Jian Bao and Chicken Fried Chops (CFC) Meal
Budget: P250 and up for a personal meal

5. New Bombay Indian Cuisine

New Bombay Indian Cuisine, Robinsons Manila

Often overlooked by mallgoers, this hidden gem is home of authentic Indian cuisine that packs a collection of flavors. I know this particular cuisine is not everyone's cup of tea, but for those who are explorative, I highly recommend New Bombay Indian Restaurant. Whenever I find myself craving for something relatively intense, I always find myself dining here in this restaurant.

Location: Fourth Floor (4F) of Robinsons Pedro Gil Wing (near Yakimix)
What to order: Chicken Biryani, Paneer, Cheese Naan and other curry dishes
Budget: P500 and up for a sharing type of experience
The feasty Arya Sini Kamel Platter of Arya for an abundance of kebabs

Arya is a place where you can try authentic kebabs, and I can't recall other branches (other than the one inside the mall) of this restaurant making it slightly unique to this area. Try to avoid the one in the 2nd floor because it lacks the proper vibe, and the servers seem to be not-so-friendly. However, the one near the Robinsons Midtown entrance is what you may want to explore. It's near George and Onnie's. They have a cozy homey vibe inside, and they really serve these juicy kebabs.

Location: Ground Floor of Midtown Wing (near George and Onnie's)
What to order: Generally the kebab dishes
Budget: P500 and up (exclusive of drinks) per person

7. Lugang

Lugang Cafe in Robinsons Place Manila

If I happen to be in a mood for a little fanciness, Lugang comes up as a candidate. It's prism-inspired interior is simply captivating, and their Xiao Long Bao (XLB) is truly a must-try. There aren't many other restaurants around Robinsons Manila that offer XLB, so this explains why I included it in the list. They also have fantastic dishes such as sweet and sour pork, and other Chinese staples.

Location: Ground Floor of Robinsons Pedro Gil Wing
What to order: Roasted Meat Combination, Kung Pao Tofu, Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao - 8 pcs
Budget: P500 and up (exclusive of drinks) per person

8. CoCo Ichibanya

CoCo Ichibanya is a popular curry place in both Japan and Hong Kong, and luckily over the years they already filled in the mainstream malls. The thing I like about this particular branch in Robinson's Manila is how it has an open vibe to it. However, I'm actually contemplating whether to replace this with Yabu, because over time, Yabu seem to be the one delivering a consistent dining experience. For now, it stays.

Location: Ground Floor, Midtown Wing
What to order: Pork Cutlet and Vegetable Curry
Budget: P500 and up each for a personal curry dish with soup and salad
