Oh cupcakes! In a sea of cupcakes, how will you know which among them deserve your attention? Well, initially, by how they are presented (i.e. how beautifully crafted they are). Then, the core part of the test - the taste and quality.

In the Foodgasm event, I was able to one of the cupcakes offered by the Cupcake Dealer - the Redamon:

Using the test I've earlier mention, this one definitely passed the initial phase. They are indeed visually enticing - yes, plain yet elegant!

Now, for the main event, the taste and the quality! Wait, before I proceed, will you guess what would be my verdict? Done? Alright!

Just one bite will immediately tell whether a cupcake is so-so, good, fantastic or "ugh"! When I had mine, I got a little baffled. Why? It was just sweet, and nothing went after. Well, I know it was a matter of preference, but I like cupcakes that are not just sweet (in fact, I want them just mildly sweet), but also tasty or as I commonly say, "flavorful".

Hence, through this experience, I am not giving out my recommendation for the Redamon. This does not mean, however, that I discourage you to try the other offerings of The Cupcake Dealer. I'm positive that they have something good in store for us, but definitely not this Redamon! *wink wink*
