Hungry Ninja's Fresh Takoyaki for Delivery

If you are craving for some fresh takoyaki to indulge over merienda time or over the weekend, Hungry Ninja may fix that for you. Available via Foodpanda, Hungry Ninja offers 4 varieties of takoyaki: original, kani, bacon & cheese and baby octopus

Hungry Ninja Takoyaki for Manila Delivery

I'd been missing some freshly made takoyaki over the past few days, so I decided to go grab some of these via Foodpanda. I'd come to know Hungry Ninja because it's one of my high school batch mate's business, and somehow I also wanted to show support, so I availed some takoyaki from him.

Besides, it's pretty rare to find takoyaki offerings in Foodpanda or even in GrabFood within our area, so it felt like the universe was pushing for it. Of course, I took it as a go.

Hungry Ninja's Original Takoyaki

I ordered 12 pieces of original takoyaki for P155. It was delivered in this neat packaging with this tiny red fork that will remind us of the usual way we enjoy our takoyaki. Taste was it felt authentic, though the tako (i.e. octopus) may need to be more tender to further heighten the experience. Other than that, it captures the sweet-savory flavor, mixed with nori powder and Japanese mayo.

Bacon and Cheese Takoyaki of Hungry Ninja (Delivery)

Out of curiosity, I also tried another variant which is the bacon and cheese takoyaki. The pricing is the same with the original takoyaki, so that's P155 for 12 pieces. Unfortunately, I was not able to fully appreciate this because I was expecting the cheese to be the typical one (vibrant yellow, melty and oozing). What it used was a cheese mixture/sauce that has this sweet milky flavor.

Hence, personally, I'd suggest that you stick with the original one, unless you are fond of what I just described, and oh bacon too.

Overall, I was able to enjoy the takoyaki as I was deeply craving during that time. My family also got to enjoy it, which made the experience more delightful (i.e. having able to share something good).

Anyway, thanks for reading the blog post. Again Hungry Ninja is available in Foodpanda. By the way, if you have alternative takoyaki shops to recommend, feel free to share by commenting below!
