Russel's Chili Garlic - 10 hours of love for this special treat!

One of my fellow carpoolers in my daily Wunder ride is apparently selling homemade chili garlic. Luckily, she has a spare bottle with her, so I decided to get one for myself. The driver/owner of our Wunder ride said that he has been a fan of the "special concoction" which is why he urged me to give it a try. He puts it in almost any dish. He even shared with us how the chili garlic goes well with Pancit Canton.

Even just by the sight of it, the chili garlic didn't look "ordinary". Typically, you'll expect something with more oil than the chili + garlic, wherein only maybe 1/4 or 1/2 of the bottle is filled up with it, and the rest is just oil.

This one is entirely different. The consistency is like of an "alamang paste", and because of this, you can ensure that each scoop holds the right blend of the oil and the chili + garlic. It's very rich in flavor, and the kick is just right! I guess this is what you get from 10 hours of preparation and hard work.

I thought the bottle will last a month here at our home, but I was surprised how we already halved the bottle with just 1 day. I'm definitely getting more when she'll have the time to produce more. Currently, she does this sparingly since she is busy preparing for a huge life event, so for now, we can just try our luck for some stock.
