Cowboy Cocina's Steak and Barbecue in Boracay

Cowboy Cocina is another fantastic place to dine in Station 3 of Boracay. It's one of the few restaurants where you can satisfy your barbecue cravings on the island.

Cowboy Cocina can be found on the farther part of Station 3, where it's practically more serene and quieter. It's also the part where a lot of foreign tourists stay or dine. We were able to observe this when we were walking our way there.

Homey and "classic" interior
One of the interesting things about Cowboy Cocina is its interior. With the wooden overall, it surely feels comfy and homey here in the restaurant. You'll also get to be immersed with more of the Cowboy groove with the portraits and decorations.

Going well with the theme of the restaurant, the menu is filled with traditional favorites (a mixture of American and some Latin dishes) including burgers, ribs, barbecue and etc.

For this particular dining experience, we were able to only try 2 dishes.

The El Gringo Chicken Pie (P399) is perhaps one of the best deconstructed chicken pie we've tried. The puff pastry on top is magically delicate that goes well with the bed of creamy shredded roasted chicken

The Cowboys Chicken Skewers (P425) are made of 100% chicken breast marinated in a special BBQ sauce. The meat is tender and the sauce just rightly sweet and smokey!

Even with just two dishes we tried, Cowbow Cocina proved how delectable their dishes can be. Service may not be top-notch with the lack of responsiveness and friendliness of the staff. Also, prices may not be that budget-friendly. If not for the good quality of dishes, this could have been just "one of those restaurant".
