COFFEE PLACE (Prince) in Grand Towers Manila

Just before we headed for our Mini Food Trip in Binondo, Troy, JD and I decided to explore the food scene around DLSU. This why we planned to try out The Burger Project in the Grand Towers. And after 5-8 minutes of walking, we were faced with a CLOSED sign. Too bad! 

But, since we didn't want to put our effort into waste, we decided to have a snack in the Coffee Place (which was formerly known as the Coffee Prince) which is located in the same building as the Burger Project. 

Note: Enjoy the photos, since I don't have a lot to say about the place.

Check out the cute drawings on the wall! So awesome right? 

If you take a look, this photo also gives proof that Coffee Place was once called Coffee Prince. Perhaps it had some issues with the business name registration that forced them to change it. Well, Remember the Korean series, Coffee Prince? It may have something to do with that... or maybe not. I frankly have no idea.

Block mates JD and Troy

Oh, here's a photo of JD and Troy (my awesome block mates) enjoying the place as well.


Re-examining the photo, I just noticed how great the wall is for snapshots! It adds a different touch to the subjects. Actually, all these doodles and drawings on the wall make the place exude a fun yet relaxing vibe.

Comfy and Cozy in Coffee Place

Interesting place, right? It's just as cozy as the mainstream coffee shops. The problem however, is that the prices seem to be within the same range as well. But oh well, at least they provide free Wi-Fi for your academic/work needs.

Alright, it's time to share with you what I had during our visit: Red Velvet Cake at P120

I was able to appreciate the taste of this cake because of the melt-in-your-mouth white chocolate. Aside from that, I also loved the smooth texture of the cake which made this cake a little more interesting. Actually, I'm not a big fan of red velvet cakes (or cupcakes) but I honesty enjoyed this one.

So, will be checking this place out again soon? Well, yes definitely! But maybe not too soon. *wink*
