A Taste of Heaven - Baked Bites by Celebrity Bettinna Carlos

I've decided to create a separate blog post for Bettinna Carlos's Baked Bites (showcased on the Food for the Heart event) because I believe these sweet creations deserve so much attention!

The Food for the Heart was an event organized by GMA's Social Media team to let some of their celebrities showcase their baking and cooking skills. Anyway, you may want to check out more about the event by clicking on the link above, since this one will be focusing on the three special baked goodies of Bettinna.

Bettinna Carlos brought three of her "Baked Bites" to the event, and we were lucky to have a taste of the mind-blowing desserts!

The Three Musketeers
I would like to name the 3 delightful treats The Three Musketeers because of the bold and adventurous flavors that seem to "playfully joust" in your mouth. This collection included the following:

• The Nutella Rock
• Red Velvet Brownie
• Dulce de Leche Pecan Cheesecake Cup

A wonderful eureka moment - The Nutella Rock by the Baked Bites!

At first bite, the Nutella Rock would seem to taste so-so and maybe bland, but as the taste linger in your mouth longer and as you chew, it is as if the Land of Oz is slowly being revealed to you - bringing colors to a grayscale vision! That's how I felt! Plus, all the cocoa richness chases your taste buds as you explore.

What amazed me was how the texture of the Nutella Rock was rough and smooth at the same time (from the crushed nuts), and harmoniously they blend! Now, I confess - I totally loved the adventure this had brought me to!

Red Velvet Brownie by Bettinna Carlos' Baked Bites

The red velvet didn't have a dab of a disappointment, in my opinion! From the base to the frosting, it is completely awesome! Why? Well, the base is ideally moist that just slides smoothly through your mouth and lips. It is sweet but not extremely so. And just when you thought there are no more surprises, the choco chips will just knock you off. To top everything off, the frosting is just magnificent - right sweetness, buttery and creamy!

Dulce de Leche Pecan Cheesecake Cup || P55

Dulce De Leche Pecan Cheesecake Cup by Baked Bites

Have you already seen something bizarre and chaotic happening that suddenly snaps and, things eventually go into a heavenly peace? Well, that's how can I describe my experience eating the dulce de leche pecan cheesecake cup! Definitely, this is not your typical cheesecake. Hence, if you are rigidly into the traditional cheesecake, you may not like this delightful treat that has a wonderful Caramel ganache garland embellished with pecans!

Falling In Love
Based on what I've observed, everybody loved the baked creations of Bettinna Carlos, even Benjamin Alves (star of GMA 7's Adarna, playing Bok) couldn't get over the sweet stuff and had to resist the urge to indulge on them again. To close this blog post, I just want to say that I give two-thumbs up for The Three Musketeers!
