Pork Madness with Yabu's Buta Kakuni Don and Korokke
Yabu just launched two latest additions to its ever mouth-watering and hunger-busting menu -- (1) Buta Korokke and (2) Buta Kakuni Don.
To further spice up and add some variety in your dining experience, Yabu found inspiration to innovate two new dishes just for us foodies! Thankfully, I was given the privilege to give them a try, so let me share with you how the experience was.
The Buta Korokke (P235) is a glorious appetizer. You'll fall in love with its delicate crunchiness. Also, each bite generates a memorable meaty moment.
These four balls are certainly a mouthful. You'll be experiencing subtle sweetness from the buta-core and the sauce. The rice is authentically sticky adding more excitement to the overall texture. On top of it all, this is the most affordable appetizer in the entire menu of Yabu, so you are definitely in for a treat taste-wise and budget-wise.
The Buta Kakuni Don (P345) is a dish of pure sinful goodness. The flavors are bold and savory with a mixture of sweetness and creaminess.
The amazing thing about this dish is how it's tremendously playful on the palate with its melt in your mouth texture. The poached egg melts as you mix everything up, creating a comforting texture for the palate. Even the pork belly cubes themselves gradually melt as they dance in the mouth.
Head on to the nearest Yabu branch now to experience the new flavors these two dishes provide. It's certainly buta-licious!
