ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser 5.0 Phone Review (ZE500KL)
I always say to myself and to others that I don't need an expensive phone to cover the basic things an expensive phone can do, such as texting, calling, snapping a photo and taking down notes. Most of them would not believe me, saying that those inexpensive phones have horrible designs and take low quality photos. However, they wouldn't be able to say that with this new ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser. Now, whenever they say that line to me, I will just show them this phone as evidence. I brought this up because here in this blog post, I will be sharing with you my personal review of the said phone.
The Design
When it comes to love the design, the phone has this sleek modern look that exudes an air of elegance and sophistication. You would not believe that this will just cost you about one-fifth of the flagship phones of other popular brands. Also, you may choose between a range of colors depending on your preference. My ZenFone features this gold design I really loved because it perfectly suits my personality. Nah, kidding, but really, it looks so awesome!
The 5-inch display is also pretty neat! The details are crisp and the colors look vibrant. On top of all, it comes with this durable Gorilla glass that create a nice finish to the display!

The Features
There are several features that are in store for you with this ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser; however, I will just be sharing with you some of the things I really love!
PixelMaster 2.0 Camera and 0.3 second Laser Auto Focus
The ZenFone 2 Laser is the first phone in the price range to have an 8MP camera on its rear guided with a laser auto-focus. Also, it has this dual-LED real tone flash and a good 5MP camera on the front.
I decided to take a selfie using the phone, and it was fantastic! It also has this real-time beautification mode for conceited ones which of course do not include me, and hey I'm not being defensive.
Google Speech Recognition
The phone also comes with this cool feature that allows you to "type" just by saying what you need to type via the Google speech recognition technology. It's so cool that I was able to write this blog post just by talking to my phone. I actually looked very weird, and my brother who was in the other room was laughing at me. However, I didn't mind it because it made the job really easier. I may look crazy talking to my phone, but I was actually going crazy over this neat feature. I just love it so much!
ASUS Remote Link
This phone has a built in app that allows you to remotely control your computer. It may function as a mouse, a powerful presentation clicker with laser-like pointer and a volume controller. It's just great for doing presentations, and I can't help but be wowed by this unique feature!
The Cost
You know what the funny thing is? This phone performs almost the same as my previous phone which costed P30,000 two years ago. I mentioned "almost" because it does not only do the same things that my previous phone can do, the ZenFone does them even better.
Another reason why today may be the best time to buy your ZenFone is because it just upgraded to a better version while still retaining the affordability of the phone. The general upgrades are illustrated by the photo below.
