A Favorite Food Place in Taft called JUS AND JERRY'S

There's this place in EGI Taft Towers that a lot of students within the area love so much. It's no other than Jus and Jerry's!

Usually, newly opened restaurants are the only ones that tend to have overflowing customers. However, there are two known places that seem to have broken the spell - TORI BOX and JUS and JERRY'S. Both of these restaurant still have numerous customers often lining up just to be served even up to this moment, and so it may suggest that Tori Box and J&J are now considered to be students' favorites!

Jus and Jerry's
As mentioned, despite the absence of a homey feeling, Jus and Jerry's still continues to bring in delight to students because of its affordable and great-tasting dishes and milk teas! More than anything else, the restaurant is known for its chicken, noodle bowls and milk teas! I'm going to share some its dishes here.

This chicken is J&J's own version of the famous Soy Garlic Chicken (popularized by Bon Chon).

The taste of this chicken filet is ordinary (which is not a bad thing for something this affordable). What the gravy does is to ease up the dryness of the fried chicken filet and of course add up more variation to the flavor. However, if you'll ask me I won't go for this one and just try Jus and Jerry's other dishes.

Aside from the signature J&J Fried Chicken, Jus and Jerry is also known for its noodles or the so-called "Noodle Bowls". Although some may consider it saltier than usual, the noodles certainly provide a diversion from the usual food students have.

Note: After trying out the noodle bowl, I realized that it was what I really love going back to Jus and Jerry's for. Nowhere in Taft will be able to find something as good and as affordable as this one.

Special Cheese Shrimp Wonton Noodle Bowl || P115

Basically, this has a similar base with the previous one. The main difference lies on the add-on, which is the "special cheese". Unfortunately, they won't reveal the special cheese they are using, but it is indeed potent enough to flavor the noodles more. Hence, if you really like the taste of cheese in your noodles, you should definitely try this one out!

Note: I still prefer Sate over the Special Cheese because I found the latter a little salty than what I usually tolerate. As my friend, JD puts it, with Sate on your noodle bowl, you'll feel like eating a Shabu-Shabu!

Jus and Jerry's in a Nutshell
In summary, Jus and Jerry's isn't all bad, and in fact could be better than more than majority of the food places around Taft. Students within the area may affirm that, so if you are deciding to tour around Taft Schools or Taft itself, you can check this one out!
