Bo’s Coffee - Introvert's Nook in Bonifacio High Street, BGC

Bo’s Coffee - Introvert's Nook in Bonifacio High Street, BGC

As mentioned in my previous blog post, I tend to have my “me time” from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM just before I start my daily grind in BGC. Most of the time, I spend it in Krispy Kreme because their beverages are more affordable, but from time to time, I visit other coffee shops to have breakfast.

Bo’s Coffee often comes to my mind because I just love the native vibe here. Plus, I like the feeling of supporting our local businesses.

In this blog post, I’ll just share with you brief "history" of how I first encountered Bo's Coffee. I'll also briefly talk about my recent experience having breakfast here in one of my favorite places in Bonficaio High Street.

Bo's Coffee in Bonifacio High Street

Love at first plug
Funny enough, the primary reason why I got to try Bo’s Coffee (near Glorietta 5) for the first time was due to my need to charge off my phone. Much to my surprise, this coffee shop has sockets in almost everywhere. I then found out that such is true for most of the Bo’s Coffee stores I checked out. This branch here in Bonifacio High Street is no exception. Hence, whenever I feel like hanging around with my phone grasping for energy, you can expect to find me in here.

Huge seating capacity in Bo's Coffee, High Street
Another thing that I love about this branch, aside from the inviting native vibe, is the large seating capacity. Oh, did you know they have a loft? Yeah, it really is a paradise for me. I just love their loft because it makes me feel isolated whenever I need to be. It’s like a “safe space”, and of course they have sockets up there too.

Needless to say, whenever you feel like spending your entire day reading a book, doing a research paper, or just reflecting on life, this branch of Bo's Coffee will be a great home for you.

Anyway, for this particular breakfast experience, I opted to just stay at the ground floor, and I ordered Vigan Longganisa Omelette (P195) to energize my day.

It was great -- salty and meaty, but might have fallen a little short to be fantastic.

Honesty compels me to say that I love the breakfast selections in Figaro more, but now that I’m pondering on it, I think the reason why I prefer eating breakfast in Figaro is because the ambiance is “perkier” which is very much fitting for an energizing breakfast. On the other hand, I’d prefer to chill here in Bo’s Coffee with a cup of frappe or hot chocolate. In short, I like Figaro as my breakfast place, and I like Bo’s Coffee as my personal nook.

Bo’s Coffee will always have a special place in my heart. It houses a lot of memories that are very dear to me. The ambiance is like a warm blanket in a cold night, or a chicken soup whenever I’m feeling ill. I guess that’s what I really come back for each time I visit this coffee place. Oh, also I love their Cookies and Cream Frappe!
