UST GWA Calculator - grades I need to graduate with honors
Welcome to the online unofficial UST GWA Calculator/Estimator! Way back in 2012+, I made a tool for fellow DLSU students to assist us in knowing what GPAs we need to achieve a target CGPA (normally, one that will give enable us to graduate with honors). That calculator is still being used today, so I realized that maybe I can extend this calculator to other universities. I've also compiled some responses from Reddit to answer some common FAQs regarding GWA matters.
What is this tool?
This is a simplified online GWA calculator you may use to assess if you are still in the running for Latin honors by targeting a certain average grade moving forward. It addresses the usual question of "Can I still graduate with honors if I do better in the succeeding terms?". I have edited this tool in such a way that it is particular for UST students.

How to use this tool?
For you to use the tool, you will need the following information to be available on hand:
- Your GWA to date (Cumulative GWA or CGWA)
- The No. of Units you already completed
- The No. of Units remaining

1. How to identify my GWA to date?
Based on what I have gathered so far, you have two ways to have this information available: (1) Manual method - log in to myUSTe Portal, jot down all academic subjects you already took, preferably in Excel. Multiply the number of units of one subject with the grade you received. Do the same for the rest of your completed subjects, and take the sum. Divide it by the total number of completed units. You may also use the tool below to do this; (2) Order a temporary TOR - this a costly option but can be more reliable. You may order a temporary TOR from your registrar. It will contain a computation for your GWA so far, and you may use that information for the tool.

How to interpret the results?
There are multiple numbers that will show up, and these are the grades you will need to hit or sustain in your remaining terms to hit a certain CGPA/GWA target. It will also provide information whether it's possible for you to still qualify for any of the Laude awards.
