Otter Bread's Freshly Baked Sourdough - A Must!
We all know how the pandemic has been bringing out some of our deepest passions and turning them into something more concrete and shareable. My good friend, Bianca (of Fat Girls Day Out Blog) is not an exception, and in fact quite exceptional in bringing us Otter Breads.
If you have been following the work of Bianca and her blogging duo, Paula, you'll witness the outpour of creativity in their crafts (blog posts, photography and etc.). Everything is oozing aesthetics, and this surely came in handy for Otter Breads and in making it stand out. The packaging is neat and elegant, and once you open it up, you'll be even giddier.
Let's take a closer look.
When the breads reached my place, there were still warm and very much breathing. Also, they were a bit heavy, which meant I was in for a filling treat!
When I opened up the wrapper, the aroma just wafted throughout the entire room, and my siblings couldn't help but gather around. Nothing beats the smell of a freshly baked bread!
I got to try two variants of their bread which is the Sourdough Boule (not the one in the photos), and the Butter Garlic Herb-infused Sourdough with Balsamic Vinegar + Olive Oil Dip. Both were tremendously great with a crisp exterior, giving this lovely "crunching" cheers as you slice or pinch a piece. The regular boule is generally neutral making it great for pairing with other spreads/jams, while the herb-infused one can stand on its own, although can still work well being paired elsewhere.
It didn't take too long for us to finish the entire bread in one sitting (okay, don't judge, there were four of us who ate it up). We had it as appetizer, and since mom cooked chicken pastel that time, I paired that up with this instead of having rice. Oh, it was lovely, and I can't wait to try other products of Otter Bread!
