Apartment 1B in The Henry Hotel, Pasay, Metro Manila
If you are planning to have a great dining experience with your special someone, this particular branch of Apartment 1B in The Henry Hotel is certainly something you should consider. You'll fall in love with the rustic feel of the entire vicinity, and the the air of tranquility that surrounds it.
Slightly tucked in one of the inner streets in Pasay City, The Henry Hotel sits in a peaceful compound that is embellished with an old-fashion theme. Given its inclusion, Apartment 1B also shares the same rustic vibe that reinforces the overall theme.
If you are decided to dine here in Apartment 1B, make sure to allot about 15 minutes to just bask in the glory of the place. You'll easily catch the air of tranquility that cleanses you off your stress.

If you have a particular liking about restaurants which cast an ambiance of exclusivity, you'll appreciate this branch of Apartment 1B. Music is playing as you dine. Seats are limited. Servers are hands-on. It's basically a good recipe for an intimate moment.
Of course, a night will never be truly memorable without a sumptuous meal, and thankfully Apartment 1B is known for providing a delightful experience (though I believe that you still need to hand pick from their menu since not all are excellent).
The Eggs Benedict (P460 for 2 pcs) can be a good starter especially with how perky this dish seems. The taste is mellow, so you won't have to worry about distorting your palate -- meaty, fresh flavors in each bite.
I mentioned that you need to still hand pick the things you'll order, right? Here's an example of what you may skip -- Fish & Chips (P690). Although taste-wise it was crispy and well-seasoned, the plating, serving size and the overall appearance didn't justify the price of the dish. However, perhaps it was because we availed it under Zomato Gold promo. Regardless, this was the least loved dish I had for this dining experience.
Apartment 1B's pasta selection seem to be one of its strong points. The Spaghetti Carbonara (P470) had this immensely creamy and rich white sauce that makes each forkful overflowing with joy.
I also remember how I liked their Bolognese based on my previous experiences in the Makati Branch.
The Macaroni & Cheese (P560), though may not be completely sulit due to its relatively small serving size, had a very potent combination of cheese. It was also gooey and stretchy which added fun as we consumed it. Needless to say, it made the cheese-lover in me happy.
The Baby Back Ribs (P790) in this branch surpassed the one I had in Makati Branch. What made this even more remarkable was the plating as well as the natural yet striking color of the sauce. Oh, and the meat easily falls of the bone which made it a delightful experience.

Apartment 1B in The Henry Hotel floats above the other branch in Makati due to a more rustic feel emanating from the wonderful landscape and architecture of the entire vicinity. This gives the restaurant an air of elegance yet tempered with tranquility. This then makes it ideal for dates and intimate catch-ups. Service is hands-on which further elevates the dining experience. A must-visit!
