Blue Wonder's Secret Cafe in Cartimar Market
Are you a coffee enthusiast and an adventurer at the same time? If you are, I’m urging you to explore Cartimar and locate Blue Wonder Cafe. It’s a coffee place unsuspectingly tucked inside one of the warehouse-looking stores in Cartimar. The great thing about this cafe is that they have a wide range of selection, and can prepare coffee to your liking. It's a coffee-lover's paradise!
Blue Wonder showcases third-wave coffee, and it’s somehow odd to find it inside one of the busiest marketplace in the Metro. However, don’t worry, once you’re inside, it won’t miss your eye because it stands out, especially with its wooden and modern overall. On top of it all, the coffee place is enclosed in glass panels and is well air-conditioned.
The coziness of the place, and the modern wooden elements embedded in its interior makes it a great back drop for your photos. Hence, if you are looking for your next profile picture, you may not have to worry after visiting this place.
Since it’s Cartimar, they sell also basically anything that is coffee-related. They have beans (which you can ask to be ground), coffee makers, coffee presses, bean grinder and other interesting or fancy stuff (or both).
Blue Wonder Cafe takes coffee very seriously, which is why they make sure to really prepare them based on your liking. When you settle down, the barista will offer you a menu, wherein you'll choose whether you'll have espresso-based, slow brew coffee or non-coffee drink. If you pick any of the first two options, they'll ask what beans you prefer to make your coffee. Below are the 3 main categories:
- Floral Blend
- Original Blend
- Dark Blend
Whatever you choose, each cup is prepared on the spot, ensuring a great coffee-drinking experience.
For this visit, what I ordered was Slow Brew Coffee via Kalita Hand Drip (P110). Then, I went for Yirgacheffe which is under the Floral Blend selection.
I'm not a huge coffee enthusiast, but when I took a sip, I fell in love. It indeed had a floral tone that made it relaxing to sip.
This coffee-drinking stint marked the end of our Cartimar Food Trip, and it was a fantastic way to end it.

What's more interesting is the cafe's unsuspecting location in Cartimar, which then adds a layer of mystery and adventure to the experience. To cut it short, Blue Wonder Cafe is a paradise all coffee-lovers need to explore!
