This 2014 is indeed one sheer of a roller coaster ride for me. It was this year when a lot of things happened in my life both in terms of challenges and victories. In fact, I hail this year as the ultimate turning point of my life where I began to fully assimilate myself into the viciously wonderful real world.

As I begin to ponder more about this year, I can't help but notice how fast the days seemed to go by, and there were times I felt like I was being swept away by the tide of time. However, this taught me how to really appreciate a temporary halt in our fast-paced lives. This is why when I was invited to check out F1 Hotel Manila, my inner self jumped for joy! At last, I can relax and have a time for myself.

The room assigned to us had this warm interior with an amazing wood flooring. The overall ambiance instantly made me feel all cozy and relaxed.

I believe that a bathroom should be a place of solitude (hence, the alternative name, "comfort" room), and hence must be in someway elegant and spacious. As a matter of fact, I often assess the "beauty" of a hotel through its bathroom. Now, honesty compels me to say that the bathroom of our hotel room just met the "okay" or "satisfactory" level of my personal standard.

A huge chunk of my criteria in evaluating a hotel goes to the swimming pool and spa facilities. I believe that these are the primary sources of relaxation and enjoyment in a hotel.

The swimming pools of the hotel compensate for the unspectacular bathroom of the hotel. They may not be as huge as that of the other hotels, but for me they already are sufficient. In fact, I enjoyed swimming in the lapping pool. It was simple yet amazing!

I suggest that you try the lunch or dinner buffet here in F1 Hotel because they offer limited yet well-selected dishes!
